I purchased Siena in early 2017 as an inexperienced and green 5-year-old directly from her breeder, Anke Just.

Siena is an attractive and alert mare. She impressed me from the very start with her quality. She has lovely paces and is very light on her feet in canter. She has lots of energy, is sensitive and intelligent. She was very inexperienced in most situations but learns very quickly.

Over a jump she is scopey and attentive. She has a quick front leg, is clever and careful. She didn’t have any cross-country experience.

In her first jumping and cross-country competitions for 5 year old’s, she impressed with marks over 8 and was regularly in the placings.

In 2018 she has learnt a lot, gathering valuable experience up to CIC* and M level show jumping.

In 2019 Sienna just got better and better showjumping and collected placings up to M** level. She gained valuable experience at CIC*** level and became more attentive in all cross country situations. At the World Young Horse Eventing Championships in Lion d´Angers she did a good dressage round and until a run out due to a misunderstanding, was fabulous in the cross country.

2020 began with winning the CCI3*-S in Pelbergen and placed in the CCI3*-L in Strzegom. At the German Championships in Luhmühlen she took home 5th place in her first CCI4*-S! I would have loved the chance to compete more with her to find a way to channel her energy better but with the Covid 19 pandemic it just wasn’t possible.

2021 saw Sienna collecting valuable experience at CCI4* level. She is just such a joy to ride, especially show jumping!
